Hire Terms & Conditions
There is a $140 minimum spend for all prop hire.
To enquire about prop hire, please complete hire from here. If items are available, we will send you a booking form via email.
A completed and signed booking form is required to book any props. Once form is returned, we will issue an invoice by email. Receipt will be emailed once payment received. Please note that your booking is not held or confirmed until full payment has been received.
Full payment is required to secure booking. Payment can be made via bank transfer and an invoice will be sent by email with payment details and we will confirm receipt of payment by email. Items cannot be reserved until full payment has been received. Prices on website include gst. All props for hire are subject to availability we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Exchange of props is possible, subject to availability and notice period. All invoice/billing changes are required 14 days before the booking date. Full payment will not be refunded including $100 deposit if cancellations occur less than 14 days from the event date. If cancellation is made before this stated cut off time a non refundable deposit of $100 will be withdrawn from the full payment amount and kept by Stump and Co. The full payment minus a $100 non refundable deposit will be transfer to hirers provide bank account. This type of refund will only occur if cancellations is placed in writing less than 14 days from the event date.
NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON:
-Candle colour not to your liking as colour batches will vary and is not considered defective.
-Candles that have been burned. Sorry no exceptions.
-Candles fragrance not to your liking.
-Change of mind.
Availability of sample packs is subject to one months booking payment prior to event date. All hire bookings must be placed at least three weeks before event date. This is to ensure your payment is accepted and to fit with production turn around times. PLEASE NOTE: All props for hire are subject to availability we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Sample packs will not be sent until full payment is received and one months notice before event date is required in order to be eligible to receive a sample pack. Sample pack includes three tea-light candles, if you would like to sample more fragrances an additional cost of $4 per fragrance is required. Sample pack are a one off service if additional samples are required after initial samples are sent they will require an additional fee. PLEASE NOTE: One final fragrance will be produced for your entire order. However a mixture of final fragrance can be ordered at an additional fee of $15 per fragrance.
Hire period is up to 5 days. Additional fee of $50 per day applies for late returns. Extended hire over 5 days can be arranged prior to delivery. Please contact us for pricing.
Delivery and collection within certain areas of Queensland is available - charges apply. Styling + setup not included in delivery fee or offered as part of our service. For a delivery quote, please email us with what items you require and, the date & delivery/collection times, as well as the venue/location for delivery and collection. PLEASE NOTE: Free shipping offers do not apply to hire orders. Please note we don’t mail items interstate or overseas.
Any damage, loss or stolen props MUST be paid for by the hirer at a fee as determined by Stump and Co. or charged at full replacement cost per item: $25 per small candle holder, $30 per medium candle holder, $45 per larger candle holder and $85 per cake stand. This is a condition of hire and acknowledged with a signed booking form.
CANDLE SAFETY/ BURN INSTRUCTIONS
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
Keep burning candles away from children, intoxicated people and pets.
Do not place near flammable objects such as curtains, flammable fabrics etc.
Place on a protected, heat resistant, level surface.
Keep candle free of wick trimmings, matches, or other foreign matter that could be a fire hazard.
Avoid burning in draughty areas.
Avoid walking with or moving lit candles.
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to avoid carbon build up on the wick (mushrooming), dark smoking, and soot in the air and on walls or furniture.
Allow candle to cool before trimming wick or relighting.
The responsibility is upon the hirer to check with their venue and other key suppliers about the use of a lit flame. We do not give refunds for hirer supplier's not allowing lit flames. We can also take no responsibility for state wide fire restrictions, bans and warnings.
We are not liable for any damage or injury our products may cause to you, your guests or suppliers goods/property. Always use caution when burning any candles and follow safety instructions!
